A Joyful Ride……..

‘If you allow the source of creation within you to find expression, joyful is the only way you can ever be’.

The Egyptian legend says that if one wants to enter heaven, at the point of entry, you will be asked two questions by an angel who is guarding the golden gates.  Unless you are one big ‘YES’ to these two questions, there is no entry for you.

The first question is: ‘Have you known joy in your entire life?’ And the second question is: ‘Have you given joy to those around you?’ If your answer to these two simple questions is ‘YES’, I must tell you, you are already taken in by the angel from the golden gates and straight to heaven.

To become a joyful person is one of the best things that you can do for yourself and all around you, especially when anger, hatred, jealousy and intolerance are rearing their heads in not so pleasant ways, joyful human beings are the only safe insurance.  They give love and happiness to anyone they come across in their lives and there is a sense of delight and a feeling of excitement to be with such a jubilant being.  Only those who know the value of being pleasant will strive to create pleasantness everywhere.

May you know the fulfillment of making all that you touch and being with all whom you meet on your journey of life a joyful ride to paradise and rejoice and sing to your hearts content.

  1. Finding joy lies in giving it, I think. And in giving in general. In fact, the happiest people are those who love others and give of themselves. Those who are selfish and mean are usually miserable.

  2. Good morning, Kamal. I smile at your beautiful post, so soft and kind..
I grew up in a joyful home and feel the blessing. I will pass the first question with a Yes,
the second is for others to tell. However, a joyful heart finds it difficult to spread anger and dark.

  3. Hi Kamal, this is an interesting post because of the use of the word joy. Happiness is really an extension of contentment in my opinion. If you are content and have the things you need on a daily basis, then you will be happy. Joy is a level up and is not something we achieve on a daily basis.

  4. A lovely post, Kamal. I believe joy is right beside us on a daily basis, but sometimes, we choose to ignore it. We have a choice to be happy, and it’s not always easy in some life circumstances. Wishing you a joyful weekend ahead. 💕🌻

  5. Beautifully written yes pleasant persons are always welcome to everyone because their present makes us feel happy and it’s not too tough to be polite and smiling to all. Well shared the Eagyptian legend. Thank you ❤️
