Thank God for Everything……….

Quotes about Thank God! (547 quotes)

-A rich man looked through the window of his beautiful villa and saw a poor man picking something to eat from a dustbin.  He was quite moved by what he saw but said to himself, “Thank GOD, I am not poor”.

-The poor man then looked around and saw a naked man misbehaving on the street.  He was upset seeing this horrible sight, but said to himself, “Thank GOD, I am not mad”.

-The mad man then looked ahead and saw an ambulance carrying a patient moving at top speed on the road. He too said to himself, “Thank GOD, I am not sick”.

-Then a sick person in the hospital saw a trolley taking a dead body to the mortuary.  He sighed a relief and said to himself, “Thank GOD, I am not dead.”

-Only a dead person cannot Thank GOD. He has already moved on. Why don’t we Thank GOD abundantly today and for all the days for all His blessings and for the gift of life that he has showered with his Grace and Love on all of us and given us another beautiful day.

What is Life?

To understand Life better, you have to go to 3 locations:

  1. Hospital.
  2. Prison.
  3. Cemetery.

-At the Hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful than HEALTH.

-In the Prison, you will see that FREEDOM is the most precious thing.

-At the Cemetery, you will realize that life is worth nothing.

The ground that we walk today will be our roof tomorrow. The truth is that we all come with Nothing and we will go with Nothing.  Let us, therefore, remain humble and be thankful and grateful to God at all times for everything.  Let each and everyone know that God loves all of us and whatever virus that we all are facing now will soon pass and we shall all live happily and joyously as One Beautiful Humanity…………………..

  1. What an inspirational, true and wonderful post, Kamal! Really, it makes me think of old Job, who, despite his immense suffering, was still able to say, “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the Name of the Lord.” Yes, in all circumstances we ought to give thanks.

    1. Yes Robbie the virus is pretty bad in India especially from last month. We are taking care and are under lockdown again. Let us pray and thank God for all his mercies and grace on all of us. Thanks so much. Hope all is good with you and your family, Robbie.

  4. This post reminds me of a story about a farmer whose horse ran away. The neighbors came by to say, “How sad.” The farmer replied, “Maybe so, maybe not.” Then the horse came back with two others. The neighbors came by to say, “What good luck!” The farmer replied, “Maybe so, maybe not.” His son went out to tame the new wild horses, was thrown and broke his leg. The neighbors came by to say, “How sad about your son’s injury.” The farmer said, “Maybe so, maybe not.” Then a war broke out and the military came to take the son to war. but because of his injury he couldn’t go…. I love how your post reminds us that no matter what our situation, we can find something to be grateful for. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. My life
    became me
    for birth
    given by my mother
    my soul
    don’t forget a step
    no thought
    the soul
    embraces
    every human
    throughout his life
    the soul wants
    that I come to insight
    the good
    to distinguish evil
    the better
    daily dare as a person
