Since I live in Mumbai city which is bustling each and everyday with lots of activities there are some of the beautiful architectural monuments built by the British who ruled over the Indian subcontinent from 1858. Few of the pictures are show-cased below:

    1. Thank you so much Diana for your kind words. We had British Raj in India and all these monuments were their architectural marvels for our Mumbai city. The promenade is yet called as the Queen’s Necklace and it is near to my house. We usually go for morning and evening walks. Will surely send you more Diana. Love and light to you dear friend.

  17. What impressed me the most in the first two images are the colors. Wow!! We just don’t see that in our country. I love seeing other places in this world that I probably will not be able to travel to. Thank you so much for sharing your world here.

  19. Kamal, I love these images of Mumbai and it immediately draws me to the city. The Enlgish buildings are on a grandiose style whilst I find the Bandra-Worli Sea Link more mesmerising with its beautiful curve of lights, hugging the coastine! Very attractive.     1. Thank you so much dear Annika for your wonderful feedback. The British Raj that ruled India really built monumental splendors for us. Bandra-Worli sea link has come up just five years back and it is also one of our great architecture and saves so much time for the traffic and it is very beautiful. We can see the full stretch of the sea too. For sure dear will do so. Much love and light to you.

  22. Great photos Kamal, You take great photos. They really reminded me our visits to Mumbai, only a few times. There is a lot of beauty in Mumbai, which can’t always been seen at eye level. And if you try and step back, you might be crushed by a car or …. But, Mumbai the city that every sleeps, a city of contrasts, beauty and well … ( poverty). But, nevertheless a great city.
