The Irony of the Present Situation……….

The irony of the Corona moment - The Hindu

Let me tell you

Never have I seen

Such a mess in my life.

The air is pure and beautiful

But wearing a mask

Is compulsory and binding.

Roads are empty and deserted

But it is so impossible

To go on a long drive.

People have clean hands

But there is a ban

On hugging and shaking hands.

Friends have time to sit together

But they cannot get together

Have to stay isolated in their houses.

The cook inside you is crazy

But you cannot one-bit invite

Any of your friends to lunch or dinner.

Every Monday

The heart longs to go out

But the weekend does not seem to end.

Those who have a lot of money

Have no way to spend it at all

They are all locked up in their four walls.

The culprit is all around

But cannot be seen

A world full of irony!

Be positive, please test negative…………..

  2. When did any of us become so fearful of the natural state of being on this earth, living with millions of bacterias and viruses? This too shall pass and friends will hug, and freedom bells ring when the Light of Christ shines forth. Much love to you, Kamal! xo

    1. Yes completely agree with your valuable words Pragal. A reality shown to humanity all these material things are of no use. We all have to be positive to avoid all the negativity going around. Thanks a lot πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š

  3. That pretty much describes it!! Our only saving grace is that our daughter, husband and two grandchildren here in LA and my wife and I have formed the bubble between our households. Allows us to spend great time with our grandchildren. Also we quarantine and get tested after trips such as the last two trips up to the Pacific Northwest to be with our daughters up there.

    1. Yes that is the only way to keep yourself happy and joyful and not mix with anyone. My daughter and her family were all tested positive but by grace of God all turned out negative but were quarantined for nearly a month. Let’s hope that everything becomes alright.

I hope all is well with you and your family. How is your husband doing now? Depression must have come down by now…

    1. Thank you Deeksha our current scenario is just like this and no kind of slowing down too. My husband is doing well now though he is having a stone in his left kidney, he is taking his medication but let us see what Dr has to say next month. Hope all good with you and your family, Deeksha.

      1. For some time things were going here and there. I got in contact with virus affected person, so was really scared. Here government officials come to the house of infected people and if they don’t have complete isolated space, they take them to the hospital. They even click the pictures of whole house. Thankfully, I was all fine for 15 days but was very tensed. Thankfully, everything is over.
I feel really sorry for your husband. Just now he has such a major surgery and once again… Sometimes kidney stones are treated through medicines only. I really hope this works for him.

      2. Yes Deeksha and poor guy he has got right above his left leg where the Operation has taken place. Oh good you did not get the virus thank God for that. Who knows when we all will be free from corona. Things have opened but people are taking care and that is good but some people are senseless too. Let’s hope for the best. Take care and stay safe. Love and light to you πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

      3. You are so right Kamal. Some people are really senseless. And between all this government is announcing to start school and colleges… not hospitals will be filled with teenagers.

      4. Yes Deeksha they are mad but little children will not have school looks like. My grandson is two years now so he may be spared for another year looks like. My daughter and her family had all tested positive for covid and father in law and mother in law were kept in hospital for almost 15 days but my daughter and her husband were asymptomatic and even their child got positive but luckily all of them cleared after 25 days and then stepped outside the house. This is what is happening everywhere. God has been so kind otherwise we all had got worried.

      5. Oho… thankfully all went well. Now everyone is predicting that second wave will be more scary as people are becoming more careless. Take care of yourself very well Kamal.

Schools are reopening for 10th and 12th grade as they have board exams. But in Uttarakhand, Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh students got Corona in large numbers. Hopefully state Governments will rethink about their decision.

      6. Yes hopefully the Government must think on lines to safeguard the interests of people and not open schools again. Yes and same to you too, Deeksha. Do take care and stay safe. Let us all pray for the virus to disappear.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
