Control Your Inner Dialogue

Czech Republic's Martina Navratilova sparks transgender ...

Martina Navratilova the greatest tennis player of her times was once asked by a journalist, “How do you maintain your focus, physique and sharp game even at the age of 43?”

She gave a humble reply, “The ball does not know how old I am.”  You need to stop yourself from stopping yourself.  Every game in life is actually played on a 6-inch ground, the space between your two ears.  We don’t live in bungalows, duplexes or flats.  We live in our mind which is an unlimited area. We keep on talking and thinking thoughts that are negative that affects our entire lives. Just like a bee that keeps on buzzing the whole day, we too keep on buzzing unwanted thoughts in our heads 24×7. Life is great when things are sorted out and uncluttered there.

Keeping the mind messy with hatred growing on the table, regrets piling up in corner, expectations boiling in kitchen, secrets stuffed under the carpet and worries littered everywhere, ruins this real home.  The key factor to performing well in life and in every arena, is the ability to control the quality and quantity of your “internal dialogue”. We have to learn with perseverance and patience how to control our internal dialogue.  Performance is potential minus internal interference.

Start your day with a clean slate.  Everyday is full of infinite possibilities. Choose to believe in Love. Find reasons to smile and rejoice every precious moment of your life. Begin each day with a light heart.

      2. I can understand what you are going through Sohair but it is not in your hands. It is all in God’s hands and he knows what he is doing. Of course we feel for all the souls who are dying in lakhs everyday but what can we do nothing. Stop reading and seeing news they are only propagating more information but there are so many getting cured and going home that they will not show. Pl don’t worry and at this time spoil yourself and fall sick. Your body is paining because you are feeling stressed and anxiety. Pray to Allah for giving peace and blessings to all. Have faith in him. We are all here for a short time. He knows best. Trust him and leave everything in his hands. Pl don’t worry. We all have to be strong. Take care, love you Sohair 🌷🌷🌷🌷❤️♥️🌷😊

    1. Yes I too completely agree with you. The ball has no mind and does not know anything. I too am going to do that every morning. This will surely change the way we think how to control our inner dialogue and live a happy and loving life. Thank you so much. Much love and light to you.

    1. Yes Deeksha I completely agree with you. That is the first thing that we have to do in order to control our inner dialogues. The ball also has no mind it just moves. Same here I liked her message so much wanted to share with all of us. Thanks so much for your valuable words.

  7. It’s sort of amazing how self-limiting we can be when there’s no reason for it. Our inner dialog is powerful and happily, it’s something we have total control over. A wise and wonderful post, Kamal. Choose an inner dialog that brings you joy. ❤
