Happy Souls Are We…………

Following lines on A ‘Happy Soul‘ were written at a Buddhist Monastery in Lamayuru, a small hamlet on the way to Leh. Take a look:

Who’s a Happy Soul?

  1. A Happy Soul stops trying to change others, but instead focuses on changing self.
  2. A Happy Soul is one who accepts people for who they are and not at their face-value.
  3. A Happy Soul is one who understands that everyone is right in one’s own perspective.
  4. A Happy Soul is one who learns to ‘let go’. He does not carry any burdens.
  5. A Happy Soul is one who is able to drop expectations from every relationship and gives unconditionally for the sake of giving.
  6. A Happy Soul is one who understands that whatever we do, we do it for our own peace of mind.
  7. A Happy Soul is one who stops proving to the world how intelligent one is.  He is always happy the way he is.
  8. A Happy Soul is one who does not seek approval from others.
  9. A Happy Soul is one who stops comparing with others.
  10. A Happy Soul is one who is at peace with oneself.
  11. A Happy Soul is one who is able to differentiate between ‘need’ and ‘want’ and is able to let go of one’s wants.
  12. A Happy Soul is one who stops attaching ‘happiness’ to material things.

Shine so beautifully and whatever you decide you do in life, make sure it makes you happy. If you want to fly give up everything that weighs you down. Here’s wishing all, a life of a Happy Soul.

    1. K for sure can understand cause we all as humans carry our guilts with us and it takes a long long time to simply let go but with a little practice and forgiving this too will go away and then why not learn to be Happy. Thanks a lot for your great comments.

Thank you so much Parikhit and as humans it is difficult in life to be happy every moment with all our day to day pressures but one can always try our level best cause that is our real nature. We are Souls come with a purpose in life and this is a short lived life and short homes our reality is One Soul.

        In fact we are all a big family, drops of the huge Ocean of Oneness with our individual consciousness coming from the same source and essence. Indeed, there is only One existing, God and as you write. Everything else in an illusion – so drop must fully merge with the Ocean…

Yes the drop that thinks that it has a bubble around it and from ages is dropping one by one the bubble will at the end realize that he is not the bubble but the drop in the Ocean and it is the drop that finally gets merged in the Ocean of Oneness where there is nothing but bliss and emptiness. Pl. it would lovely to share your awesome and profound reality thoughts to your blogger friends too, Didi. Let the world know that we are all Happy Souls and our God is Love and Love must Love. In His Love and Light my friend. I would feel so nice if all would share these Buddhist Words everywhere and we all start living a life of Love and Happiness on this Mother Earth.
