One day, a young girl and her father were walking along a forest path. At some point, they came across a large tree branch on the ground in front of them. The girl asked her father, ‘If I try, do you think I could move that branch?’ Her father replied, ‘I am sure you can, if you use all your strength.’ The girl tried her level best to lift or push the branch, but she was not strong enough and she could not move it at all.
She said with utter disappointment, ‘You were wrong, dad. I cannot move it.’ ‘Try again, my dear child with all your strength,’ replied her father. Again the girl tried hard to push the branch. She struggled but it did not move nor budge even an inch and she was very dejected. ‘Dad, I cannot do it,’ said the girl a little sad and forlorn. She started crying too. Finally, her father said in a very gentle tone, ‘Young lady, I simply advised you to use ‘all your strength. You did not ask for my help. I too was there walking with you.’
Remember our real strength lies not in independence, but in interdependence. The more you try to control and want to do things on your own it controls you. Free yourself and let things and people take their own natural course. No individual person has all the strengths, all the resources and all the stamina required for the complete blossoming of their vision. To ask for help and support when we need it, is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of wisdom. Trust and have faith in others who do not keep scores but are always there ready and obliging to help at the slightest occasion.
Opportunities are never lost, they are always taken by the people who are ready to meet the challenges in life head on with the assistance and backing from others. It is not important to hold all the good cards in life, but it is important how well you play with the cards you hold.
We are all like beautiful flowers. Everyone is different and special, but TOGETHER we are great helpers who are kind and compassionate. Live a simple life, Enjoy life and Love each and everyone.

If you use ALL your Strength. It also meant that it not only the 💪 muscular strength but other strengths of mind -like intelligence, ideas, other ways of moving it and of course taking the help of her own Dada (Dad).
Use Brain not Strength alone
Other strengths and Brain too.
Good One Kamal

Hmm absolutely agree with your words, Shiva strength of another kind and yes she could have taken the help from her father but she did not think in those terms. So the father explained very nicely to her. Thanks so much for your great feedback.

Such a simple and yet powerfully profound message that sometimes we forget. “No man is an island” and yes, we all need each other. That’s what feeling connected is all about. Beautiful post Kamal. 💕
