A young couple moved into a new neighborhood in Wales. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman watches her neighbor hang the washed laundry outside. Immediately she points to her husband: ‘Look, darling that laundry is not very clean, there are so many stains on the clothes. That lady does not know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.’ Her husband looked on, but remained silent and did not answer his wife.
Every time her neighbor would hang her washed clothes to dry, the young woman would make the same comments and wonder what is wrong with that lady. Why is she doing that. Very often she asked her husband, ‘Darling do you think I need to go and give her a new detergent power or tell her and give her some advice.’ Her husband would kindly say, ‘No you do not worry. It is completely okay with her. May be she will know what is better for her and her family’.
About one month later, one fine day the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: ‘Look! She has learnt how to wash correctly. Her clothes are spotless and there are no stains. I wonder who taught her this.’ The husband then very politely said: ‘Dear, I got up early this morning before you could and cleaned our windows. There were quite a number of stains on the windows and so it was your perception that was making you see the clothes with a difference.’
And so it is with life: What we see and who we see when we are watching others, depends on the purity of the window through which we look. We are no one to pass judgement and opinions. Often we need to learn simply by observing others. To love and be loved, to be kind, thoughtful and helpful. To be compassionate and to make a difference in the lives of others.
Our life is a creation of our mind. So let us remember this story of ‘Dirty Laundry’ and clean our windows and our frame of mind, before commenting or concluding on others and Your Life will surely give a better view.

When we judge others, we have a bigger issue than the one we are judging. The issue is with ourselves. The story illustrates this point well.

Yes absolutely true and judging others and for what. Yes the issue and not being able to see clearly is all from our mind perception. Nothing from the other side. Thanks dear for your great comments.

Really many times we make misconceptions about the others due to our negative perception which totally results out in the bad shape of our personality development.
